I have been offered TOSHIBA R1002 (combo device CDRW-DVD PLAYER). Need your comments.

I need CDR for low usage (about 30 multissesions each month
on 10 CDs or less, recording speed may be low say x4,
using fairly good quality blank CDs).
Expect to burn about 200 CDs in 3 years.

I need DVD for low usage. Say: 1/2 hour a day
reading data DVD, 2 times a week watching DVD movies.
For DVD movies, I'll need being able to backup
the DVD (by using CSS break utilities and then
compressing it MPEG 4 eg by DIVX).

In my country, I can't expect decent maintenance.
Atrually, I'll have to throw the device if it doesn't
function after 1 year of warrantee is over.
Therefore, I need a robust device.
