Do Quadro 4000 work with AMD chipset?

Maybe a bit out of subject but that quadro 4000 graphic card is made for OpenGL in priority (DirectX is the cheap way to output graphic). So if I had one of this card I would you Linux since it does implement OpenGL a lot better than Windows. Oh well this is just a thought. ^^

As long as you have a PCI-E slot for it :D . Of course, if you have an older AMD chipset with PCI-E 1.0a (early nForce 4 and VIA chipsets) then you might have some issues but more modern and fully complient 1.1 and 2.0 slots are just fine. Since that Quadro is based on Fermi (essentially a very cut down GF100 even more than the 465) the question is if you have a good enough PSU for it
