Hello,

I would like to have all my folders open in folder view, i.e. so that
there are two frames with folders on the left and their contents on
the right. Is it possible to set up Windows XP Professional so that
this happen? What happens now is that the folder opens with only one
frame and I have to click on folder view to get what I want.

Thanks,

Norman Stein

Hi Norman

Open Windows Explorer and enable View>Details. Then go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders'. Restart WE.

Hi Norman,

Go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types/Folder/Advanced. Set
Explore as default.

Hello Kelly,

I've tried this and my folders still open up with one window. Then I
have to click on folder view to get both.

Thanks anyway,

Hello Will,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried it as well as the one Kelly made
and neither does what I want. The folders still open up with one
single window until I click on folder view.

But thanks anyhow.
