Led and lcd tv tuner card are same ?

Hello, I hv a pc with LED monitor. I installed an lcd tv tuner card. I am given to understand that led and lcd tv tuner card are same. Is it so ?

What exactly is an LED TV Tuner card? Is it for your TV? Computer? Do you mean an HD Tuner Card? What brand and model of card is it?

LED and LCD monitors and TVs are the same, both use LCDs to display the images, the LED part is used for the back-light. The only displays that use LEDs to display an image are the huge ones they use in Times Square and sports arenas.

A "LED monitor" is simply a LCD monitor with LED backlight instead of traditional CCFL (florescent) backlight.

I assume you are simply talking about a TV tuner card for your PC to watch TV programs.
