well i was given some memory the other day witch i thought was old EDO 72 pin, but on closer inspection it was 80 pin there are a few numbers on but nowt to say exactly what it is.
corsair microsystems,
c586l256k15b2.
anyone with any ideas.

I didn't see c586l256k15b2 listed on there web site.
It looked like most of there model number begin with cm.

Try interpreting the numbers! It's a 256 killobyte cache module for some kind of 586 (pentium classic) system. Checking my cache simms-Yep 80 contacts per side, appears to be a standard COAST module-that's Cache On A Stick for you young'ns. Someone was asking about these a couple weeks ago-sell it to him!
