Hey guys, I plan on making my very first computer build and was wondering if I could SLI a GTX 560 DS SSC on a GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H motherboard. I really want to do SLI with a gigabyte motherboard because of their dual BIOS technology, so that is why I am pretty limited here. Any suggestions are also appreciated :)

It doesn't matter because those cards do not support PCIe3.0. When a card that only supports 3.0 is put into a 2.0 slot then the slot will auto run at 2.0 16X speed. All PCIe technology is backwards compatible and so the motherboard will handle what mode it runs in. You should be fine. Even if the card supported 3.0 and you use a 2.0 and 3.0 slot it will do the same and run it down to an 8X 8X 2.0 connection.
