SATA Ports Replaced

Hi everyone,

New to the forum..wanted to get advice on an issue my friend is having. He had faulty sata ports which were replaced by his local PC shop. He's now trying to run his computer again and there's an issue with Windows 7 booting up.

I'm wondering if there's an issue here with the new Sata port and his HDD? Any suggestions - reformat? repair?

Maybe this might help
Try plugging the HDD into another SATA port still having issues try repairing windows 7 choose the 2nd repair option
