Why_me gave you SLI capability but a lesser video card. It's a trade-off. If you are really likely to upgrade with a second card within 3 months or so, go with his build.

The build I supplied will be a better performer at stock speeds, but there is no crossfire or SLI capability. I also didn't include the CPU cooler.

I probably wont be doing sli or crossfire then
will i need a cpu cooler for your build?

also should i change the 6950 for the 570?

Click more information under my avatar then click on my configuration.

I have a 5870 slightly overclocked, on water. It's similar in performance to the 6950.

I have no issues playing any game at 19x10. You may not always get max settings on every game... Metro2033 for instance, but most games will run maxxed out.

A single 6950 2GB won't max BF3 on Ultra settings @ playable fps but you will be able to play it at a decent quality picture.

I am running dual 6950 twin frozr IIIs on the BF3 beta atm and barely hitting above 60fps outside.. and its only the beta lol.. then again I am also running on a Phenom II x4 965 BE 3.7ghz so that might be part to blame >_>

what do you mean when you say "decent"

 I like your build
i probably wont be playing those kind of games mostly Skyrim Mw3 and BF3(at decent quality)
i dont play MMO games though
but if a friend recommends them i might get into them
so its always nice to have the equipment when your ready

Listed recommended gpu for HIGH quality BF3 is 560ti/6950

Even with that listing, when playing the BETA which isn't the games full potential, I am only hitting right above 60fps with two 6950s in crossfire on max settings @ 1920x1080p

Once the game releases that number will drop more because of DX11 + full ultra features becoming active.

So decent for a single 6950 should be a few mid a few high a few ultra settings but in all honestly we won't truly known till the game is out.

OK thanks :D

That's a great deal on that psu, but on your budget I think I would want to save the $25 and put it towards something else like a larger case.
