Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series Sound Card w/ I/O

So I am going to build a gaming computer with top of the line gaming hardware. I was looking for a good sound card and found the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Championg Serious Sound Card with and external bay. I want don't know if this sound card is 7.1, or 5.1, or both. I really hope it is both, because some of the games I play is 5.1 surround, while others are 7.1 surround.
Please help me!!!

if you have 7 spkrs (and subwoofer) and the game uses only 5 of them, it will just not use the side spkrs
