Hello

I'm going to build a computer for the first time, and could need some input. I would like if it could play BF3, among others, on fairly high settings.

Approximate Purchase Date: At latest a month from now

Budget Range: 8000 DKR is 1450 USD, but in Europe the prices differs a lot from the US (I think)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Movies

Parts Not Required: Moniter, speaker, mouse, keyboard, Win 7, DVD drive

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon.co.uk, something that delivers to Denmark

Country of Origin: Denmark

Parts Preferences:

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: In the future yes

Monitor Resolution:1920×1080

Additional Comments: I would like if it could play games at a better than average visual level, at least the next year or two

I have looked on these 3 graphic cards but I don't really lnow what gives the best performance for the value.

For gaming purposes what card should I choose, and are the others parts that I need to change? The GTX 580 is 50% more expensive then the Radeon 6970 in my country of residens, is it worth it?

Thanks in advance

I am not tooooo familiar with all of the hardware out today but i noticed you did not have a solid state drive in there. I would recommend picking up some form of 64g maybe a little higher so you can run your OS and bf3 on it only, install everything else to the tera.

Thank you. I think I will buy an SSD. It looks tempting.

Someone recommended two 6870 in crossfire as the gpu, would that be better than what I have now?

yeah two 6870s will serve you better but buy a good 6950,unlock it and enjoy the power of 6970 at lower price.less noise, heat and offcourse money.otherwise grab a
good 6970 so that you can upgrade in future
