Ok that sounds great ,but could you explain what am i doing wrong ,when i set it at about 1750 and run performance test i lose video signal and my pc reboots and does it again and again until i pop that battery out on motherboard , maybe i need to set higher voltages? But i dont know how and it seems that there is no options in bios as well could you post a link where can i read more about that ? thx :)

Overclocking the system rather than the CPU multiplier introduces several sources of instability, eg PCI and PCIe buses are also overclocked and they have far lower tolerance than your CPU. This is why your computer is crashing.

I am guessing you don't have the option to change the CPU multiplier. As I understand it, neither Clockgen nor your BIOS give you the option to do this. Even if they did, your CPU might be multiplier locked (I am not familiar with your CPU, so cannot confirm).

Remember that overclocking involves running your computer beyond its design spec so problems shouldn't be a surprise. Being able to overclock is never a given unless your CPU is specifically designed to allow it (eg a K series CPU - and even then mileage will vary).

As others have mentioned, your reported CPU speed is correct. A dual 1.6GHz CPU means it has two cores, each running at 1.6GHz. This is a perfectly capable system for undemanding tasks such as web browsing and office apps, but for games and content creation, it's a little underpowered.

If you need significantly more performance, you'll need a new computer I'm afraid.
