Asus P8Z77-v help

Hello, I recently built my first computer and had it running, Then it shut down and completly fails to start up and display anything on the display. 3 lights turn on going from the Cpu led, then the ram led, then the gpu led. It shuts off then restarts again.

When you say it was running, do you mean it was completely powered up into the operating system and you were using it? Then it just out of the blue shut down. How long was it up and running before it shut down? Which port are you using for graphics?

You say it shuts off and restarts again. Do you mean it is trying to POST but cannot? You could have a bad CPU fan or one that is stuck or obstructed. That would cause it to fail POST and restart again and continually fail POST.
