Time to upgrade?

Was hoping to get some advice if my upgrade would be worthwhile. I play games such as League of Legends, Battlefield 3, Civ 5, and will be playing Diablo 3 when released. I was considering upgrading my mobo my cpu (to an i5 2500k) and I would need to get new ram (16gb 1600 ddr3) considering the mobo change. Please tell me if it would be worth my time and money.

6gb 1333 ddr2 memory
XFX radeon hd 5770

Battlefield 3 would see very minimal improvement because it is mostly gpu dependent but civ 5 should see a huge improvment.
It would be better if you upgrade your gpu first.

It's mostly dependent on the resolution you're planning to play on. I think.

Are you able to overclock your CPU? That will give you benefits in games like Civ V. Depending on your resolution, as sayantan said, a GPU upgrade may give you the most notable improvements. Assuming your PSU can handle it (or you upgrade that too), a GTX560Ti or HD6950 would each offer a big improvement. The HD6950 is a little stronger in many games, but Civ V in particular prefers nVidia's architecture and the GTX560Ti will be much stronger in that one title.
