GTX580 Oppinions

That one is over $500. These days, you should be looking for GTX 580's around $450 or less (after rebate). All the reference models, EVGA Superclocked, Asus DirectCU II, and Gigabyte OC cards are all around $450 or less.

This Galaxy GTX 580 comes with an Arctic Cooling Accelero heatsink and only costs $415 after rebate. Just for example.

With that said, the Twin Frozr II is a great card, a little noisy at load, but high quality. MSI improved the Twin Frozr cooler and has the Twin Frozr III on their GTX 580 Lightning cards.

I would go with the Asus GXT Direct cu II 580. The triple slot design reduces noise at load like no other card I have ever seen. So unless you want you video card to sound like a jet engine, go for the asus. If you are worried about sli, don't be:

And especially if you put 2 580's in your system...that is some crazy noise.
