How can I move the Shared Documents folder of XP Professional to a different
(i. e., user-defined) location? (Background: I would like to move all user
data to a different partition of my hard drive.)

I've already tried TewakUI but it didn't work (at least not with my German
localized version of the OS). It confirmed changing the folder but actually
it didn't and when I quit the program and re-started it the Shared Documents
folder was in the default location again.

Any suggestions?

TweakUI does not help. See this thread for manual redirection:
