HDMI \ VGA to HD COMPOSET-RGB input

Not sure this is ware i should ask this, if not i apologize

been looking for a way to hookup my dads laptop via the HDMI or VGA output to the HD component input on his old CRT HD tv, its a Toshiba Cinema series, i dont know the model number, but it dose support 720P and 1080I via the RGB HD inputs in the back

like the title says i need a converter that will allow me to connect via the VGA out or the HDMI out, VGA i would suspect is easier as it is still a analog signal and therefore wouldn't need to be converted to analog from digital.

If anything along those lines exists then wonderful could someone provide links to ware i could perhaps purchase one.

If not then thank you for you time ill stop my random babbling now

Edit; reading up on other forums, Since you can't mention what model number your dads tv is...I'm doubting post I've made.

Since you might need a digital convertor box to help you connect the laptop to the tv via a cable.
