Remove heatsink SAFELY (how to) ?

Hi , I just received my 64GB ram from Geil for my pc rig. I have the EVO CORSA DDR3 and I would like to know how to remove the heat spreaders but safely. The spreaders are huge and they wont fit under the coolers ( i tried to avoid the liquid cooling system) .

I saw that there is a technique using heat to detach the parts but I want to know if its safe.

As coolers I will have 2 zalman cnps12x.

I already saw that tutorial , and I guess that its 75%-80% safe . Anyway I will try . I will wait for all parts and I will detach then.

No problem your welcome and it will work i have done it three or four times in the past sometimes i just had to use the blow dryer set on high for a little longer then that guy in the video had to still worked like a charm every time

Yes i used a mini size one my girlfriend had it's hard to hold it in your hand like that guy did or maybe i am a sissy but it started to burn my finger so i just used chop sticks to hold it lol
