I've finally decided to say screw it and ask so I can finally stop worrying myself about it when I look at Speccy.

I have a k9n6pgm2-v (I know it's old.) and I am wondering when should I get concerned at temperatures? Rarely while gaming I might get to 48-50c at certain games when I look over Speccy. I noticed some say 50c is perfectly fine and you should only worry if you touch 60/65c. Other hand some say its way too hot.

WELL I decided to finally ask and see what the verdict is.

Is 50c temps just fine when gaming with this motherboard or what?

Speccy gives you temperature readings and what not. With certain games I get 48-50c on the motherboard. My GPU is a 9800gt and I normally get mostly under 70c (50-65c etc). My CPU is a Phenom II X4 945 gets around 40-45c

those temperatures are a bit warm, but within a reasonable range I believe
Of course, you should get some compressed air to blow out your case, if its an old computer, bet you could loose a few degrees, especially in your video card, but be mindful to hold fan blades, as to not over speed them (while computer off, of course)

I'll see if some air will fix it up. I have a fan also blowing into my case just to be safe, ghetto cooling.

So if the temps are "a bit warm but reasonable"...what temperatures should I start worrying about?
