Phenom II x6 1090t (black edtion) Clock speeds

Hi everybody i just wanted to know some toms hardware users clock speeds on there phenom x6s

i am currently running stock heat sink at 3.7ghz if u could share ur cpu-z things that would be nice i am upgrading my cpu heat sink so i wanna see what a practical clock is at before i do anything thanks

Get a program to check your temps, if you want to overclock you get an aftermarket heatsink.

i am puttign a hyper 212+ with 2 sickle flow red fans i just want to know a good clock to shoot for. as of now on stock heatsink with prime 95 my temps dont get above 65c

With a hyper 212 you should be around 50C, i believe 4.4ghz would be a good start.

I run my 1090T @ 3.8Ghz using 1.4V, I've never tried 3.9Ghz, but I know 4.0Ghz is unstable with 1.525V. I got a dud that doesn't overclock as well as my 965.

On my 1090t using a Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro cooler, i have a lovely stable 4.0ghz on just 1.325v, idle temps are 24c load temps never go above 50c. I reckon i got myself a great little OC CPU with this one.

wow thats really wierd im running 3.7 at 1.4 volts jeez
