I have an Gigabyte H61m-usb3-B3 (sorry cant give link my net is really crappy right now) and im planning to upgrade to 6gb. As of now i have 4gb of ram 2 pieces of 2GB ddr3 sticks, now if i replace one of those with a 4gb ddr3 stick will it still work? im using
G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1333 PC3-10666. I am not sure at all about its compatibilities

I really need an upgrade since i feel that the game i am playing really needs more than 4gb since at full load its using 3GB of my ram already.

Thanks you very much

Here are my other specs

i5-2400
Gigabyte GTX 560 ti OC
Hec cougar 700w PSU
1TB hitachi
320GB WD

are you on win64? if you only have 2 memory slots, then you can make them different, BUT and its a big but, you'll lose dual channelling, which will make your memory slower to access, which would probably be worse than having less of it.
