Editing 8mm home movies

in the mkt for new desktop. will need something to edit many hundreds of ft of 8mm/super8. phenom x4 and radeon 6950 are suggested.

You will need a projector with a three blade shutter to sync the frames per second (fpc) on the projector with the digital camera. I did this several years ago and projected the movies onto a high quality screen with a camera focused on the images on the screen. The three blade projector gave me a flicker free transfer.
