Someone is selling it for $160 brand new , in box . It's cheaper than retail, and I've been wanting to upgrade from the P4.

I don't plan on overclocking, but I plan on using it for gaming. The best graphics setup I might get later on is a Radeon HD 6950 or GTX 570 . How will it bottleneck in comparison to a i5-2500k?

Thanks again for the help in advance :D

EDIT: could someone also move this to the correct section? I accidentally chose Cases over the CPU section .

It's over at kijiji . So I am meeting up with the person if I take up his offer. This is just a part to a new computer I plan on making.

CPU: Intel i5 2500k
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
GPU:
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB

PSU v1: NZXT Hale90 750W
PSU v2: Corsair HX750
Case v1: Corsair Carbide Series 500R White
Case v2: NZXT Phantom White Enthusiast
Case v3: Corsair Graphite Series 600TM White

Those are the parts I plan on using. The core parts that is. The only thing I different is the CPU which is obvious and so far, I haven't decided on what GPU to use. I forgot to mention this, but I am in Canada, Ontario so that's why I have no access to Microcenter.
