Hey guys i recently built my first PC a couple weeks ago. Everything has gone smoothly so far except for a random power down a few days after i built the system. I have also gotten some odd looking black colours on my desktop and such. This is hard to explain but pretty much what happens is my desktop will have black pixels and such all over it but if i move a window over top if it then move the window away again it goes back to normal. This has only happened twice. Since this is my first build im a bit worried i might have done something wrong when putting it together.

These are my components:
Saphire Radeon HD 6970 2gb
I5 2500k @ stock 3.3
Standard mechanical hard drive 3.0gbs 7200 rpm
z68 gigabyte mobo
roswell 1k watt psu

I am a bit worried my PC is under preforming so i ran a benchmark and this was my score:

I think i might have put something together wrong here is my internal build:

Are my benchmarks ok or is there something wrong? thanks guys
