No video out even with add in card

Hello,
My Gateway desk top video quit. I pulled the card I installed a few months back and started using the onboard video, now it will not work either. I have reset all connections including ram, changed monitors and still no video out put. Any ideas or a problem similar to this?

Sounds like a motherboard or PSU issue.

I had a Gigabyte 770t motherboard installed a while back. My graphics card would often not output video, so I thought it was a GPU issue. Come to find out, the motherboard I was using was often considered UNSTABLE by the good ppl over at Newegg. So I chalked up $$$ for an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx (shiny) and now everything is peachy. So yeah, I would say that its a mobo issue...

Whats the model and manufacturer of your mobo???

Thanks folks. I found the problem. A bad DDR2 ram chip. I could not get back here because I never received a e-mail to verify my membership from tomshardware.
