#1 Right now the only place that I can see where it tells you if you have PMs or not is in the root of the forums. Change the interface so it shows you no matter which sub-category you're in how many PMs you have.
#2 What the f%#$ is the "New Thread" button. I had to click the "ask community" button in order to create this.

As for the PMs, look at the right hand sidebar. There you will see the PMs. If you have clicked the button that says, "Hide Right Column" you will need to turn that off.

Thanks. I guess my mind has a hard time equating "Ask Community" to "New Thread" because generally when I create new threads it's just to post AMD's dismal quarterly results.
Oh, the right side bar has useful information now? Heh, I've had that hidden pretty much forever because I didn't find the News and Latest Articles etc sections useful.
I have to agree with random.
I have to goto the bottom of the main page to see if there is a PM.
The last time I looked at the R/S it was just more ads.
