I plugged it in using only the RCA outputs and it looks amazing. The
picture quality (not necessarily the graphics) look as good as my Xbox or
'Cube.

That's because the Dreamcast is God in a box.

lol

Its good to see that the Dreamcast is still generating a buzz. I still
play mine, and i'm going to get one for my nephew too. I usually play
Dreamcast through the VGA, but i've never seen it on an HDTV.

What games do you like to play the most, or still want?

the end.

Hoo boy. Are you (and your TV) in for a treat when you use an RGB SCART
connection...

Hmmm, DVI and component only.

Maybe it's just me, but the only gripe I have/had about the Dreamcast is
that games seem difficult compared to other platforms.

You only used RCA outputs. The Dreamcast does not output a component
signal - it only has RGB (either SCART or VGA), S-video (wrong
connector) or composite (the only RCA video output present).

As for the DVI, it's possible that it would accept VGA through DVI
(there are pins for a proper VGA signal on a DVI connector), so you
could try that for a supreme picture (above all other consoles)

If you really want a buzz from your DC, get Psyvariar 2 (pun intended).

It totally rocks!
