It takes at least 10 minutes for my HP Pavilion dv9925nr laptop running vista 64 bit premium. Upon booting, a message states there is a PCI resource conflict on the motherboard bus 02 device 05 and function 00. In device manager, there is a yellow exclamation point next to the Ricoh IEEE 1394 host controller which when I look at its properties, its location states bus 02 device 05 function.
CD player won't work even though the device manager says it is working properly. I can hear it spin, but it doesn't read any cd. I ran Microsoft's FixIt for both, but it says there isn't a problem with the CD/DVD and recognized the problem with the controller couldn't fix it. I've uninstalled the controller, scanned for hardware changes, and when it tries to install the drivers, I get a message that the driver installation failed.
