Hey guys,
Can I put three HD6870X2s on my p67 Asrock extreme6?

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P67%20Extreme6

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=17832

I'm just unsure about the 4X pci thing or if it makes sense to go down this path. If not, i may just go with just a pair of HD6870X2s.
How much power would I need for the 3 or 2 of these cards?
Can anyone recommend a nice case to accommodate the cards and PS.
Would I have to OC my 2600K to see the benefit.

Thanks in advance

Solution
Max 4 GPUs can be supported in Crossfire/SLI.

ie, 2 6870x2s.

As for PSU, I would recommend a 1200W supply from Antec HCP-1200 or Corsair AX-1200W.

These are excellent PSUs that give you enough headroom for OCing your 2600K.

As for cases (I assume you are air cooling), check Coolermaster HAF-X/Cosmos S or Corsair Obsidian 650D.
as each 6870x2 counts as two gpus, are you asking if you can use 6 way crossfire?

If so,....."No...."

A single 6870 appears quite sufficient at 1920x1080/1200, beyond that, you might find yourself limited by the 1gb framebuffer per GPU at high quality/AA/AF settings
