RAIDing two slow hard drives is just nuts

Buy one decent fast drive , and a small SSD for caching

The RAM better be 1.5 volt or less

Do you have a budget ? Do you have any extra for a SSD. You could get a 120gb SSD and load your OS on it and a current game and 1 or 2 apps. Also if you go with a MB that has the Intel Smart Response and create two partitions on the SSD. One at 20gb for the cache and the second one the rest or it for the OS.
Nothing wrong with the parts you have selected.

Because a lot of peeps including myself never buy that second card later on for the fact something newer and better is out there by then. The new gen vid cards due out the first of the year are a prime example. Easier to get two 560ti's right from the start and kick arse while maxing any and every game out there atm.

dual 560ti's > single 580.

If your going to game with 3D, I would get something with more VRAM. I would just get a single GTX 570 2.5GB or a GTX 580 3GB. As for your MoBo, get an AsRock Gen3. It's cheaper and it's well-built. As said before, change your HDD. A decent HDD and an SSD are a nice combo.

750w psu for dual 560's. And like outlander pointed out...forget the raid 0.
