Where does the power switch go on a motherboard? I got 3 pairs of wires: PW Led, DDD Led and Power Switch.

I got an e-Machine T3302. Please help.

First of all, you need to know what motherboard you have.

If you still have your motherboard user's manual (if it even came with the computer), there should be a graphical chart that shows you exactly where all those things go.

If not, google it. Might be able to find something.

Or if you could take a picture of the motherboard (with as much detail as possible), we might be able to help locate the correct positioning for your front panel I/O headers.

It will vary based on your motherboard, this might help though:

Make sure to check your motherboard manual for correct placement.

It appears you don't even have your power switch plugged in.

Where does it go. I only got 3 pairs of wires as seen in the 3de picture. Am I missing a wire? CD Rom don't open.

All the lights work, fans are running but CD-ROM don't open. Will it matter if the wires are turned around?

We need a bettter pic of yours and/or the model number if you can, a bit of hunting threw up http://www.webanswers.com/technology-computers/have-mot... and if the manual on that link is yours then you're good,
also, the pins for the power switch should be marked 'pwr sw' the ones you have there look like the led plugs
*Edit, the cd drive is plugged in and connected with the data cable properly I asssume?
