Will such video card work on my mainboard?

Hello I got a question will a 512 memory ddr2 video card work on this mainboard?

Model: P4M800CE-8237

Chipset: VIA 4800 Pro/P4M800 CE/VN800/CN7

Southbridge: VIA VT8237

Graphic interface : AGP version 3.0

max transfer rate 8x.

I had Ati Radeon 9250 128 memory before but it burned, and now I'm stacked with a really weak onboard one so I'm asking if i could get a working 512 mb one ddr2 on the pc.

Something like this:

NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS

Gigabyte GeForce 8400GS 512MB DDR2 64bit PCIe SC

Nvidia GeForce 8400GS PCI-EX16 512MB sdDDR3 32bit, 567/1250MHz, DVI/CRT/HDMI, Heatsink

Palit GeForce 8400GS 512MB DDR3 32bit PCIe HS

And which of these two is better? i think the last one but I don't know if it works on my mainboard, if I do need to post more information about my pc
could you tell me here what to post?

More about will video card work mainboard
  1. Neither of those will work as they're both PCI-E and you have an AGP graphics card slot.

If you're power supply can handle it (400 watts or more), go with this card (Sapphire Radeon HD4650):

If not, look at this card (HIS Radeon HD4350):

    -Wolf sends
  2. I see so basically an ati with AGP, thanks for the help.
