Dell PC won't come out of sleep mode

Hello, I have a Dell GX270 that has gone into sleep mode and won't come out no matter what I try.

Switch it off then on! unplug from the wall if the power button dont work (hold it for at least 5 seconds), or use the PSU switch if it has one. If it is not starting again, it is not a sleep mode problem

I had the same problem with an old dell e510. I had to remove the eternal battery cause it was dead. you can replace it if you want to. It keeps the time and date best i recall. i did not replace mine just removed it. Worked fine after that. it just would not keep time anymore. it looks like a watch battery. hope this helps.
