Hello,

Recently, I just bought a Gigabyte B75M-D3V. I've yet to build up my PC due to some components that are yet to be bought. I was looking at it's official site and it said nothing about 64-bit. It got my worried and I would like to clarify if this motherboard will run in 64-bit?

Replies are greatly appreciated. :)

It depends entirely if you have a 64-bit CPU and a 64-bit operating system to take advantage of instruction set/registers inside the CPU.

Then an i5-3470 3.2GHz with Windows 7 64-bit OS should be fine?

That motherboard has an 1155 socket. All of the processors that will fit in that are 64-bit capable.

Don't worry about 64-bit.
The first 64-bit capable CPU was AMD Athlon 64 which was released back in 2003.
Yes i5-3470 is 64 bit capable and you can install 64-bit operating system.

Yes, that's a 64-bit processor. In order to fully utilize it, you will NEED a 64-bit OS.
