Hi guys
heres the deal ... i have a mate who,s selling a radeon HD4830 and wants a quick sell... ( only wants £35 ) ... however direct x compliance aside will this perform better than my current radeon HD5670(512mb)
ive had a quick look on gpu review and from what i can see the HD4830 has 240 additional stream processors and 12 more texture units ....... and the most obvious improvement is the 256bit memory interface compared to just 128bit with the HD5670
however is it worth buying ..... ?

Well, I Would Stick With The 5670 Because Its DX11(Even Though DX11 Games Woudn't Benefit Much With A Low End Card).
Now Even Though The 4830 Has A 256 Bit Interface,It Is A GDDR4 Interface I Guess Or Lower(DDR3/2)!
But The 5670 Has GDDR5 RAM So It Beats The 4830 In Memory Bandwidth!

Edit: But Yes, Performance Wise The 4830 Will Out Perform The 5670!

thanks jaguarskx.... i will get the HD4830.. and ive seen the same model (XFX) online for around £50 ...then i will run two of these in xfire.... wont set any records but two HD4830,s will far outperform a single HD5670 ....
