Some of Coolermaster's PSUs have liar-labels on them, and others claim to have protections they don't actually have (reviews at HardwareSecrets). That's dishonest, and a dishonest company does not deserve business. I would therefor suggest alternate products for the PSU, case, and fans. Seasonic, Antec, and Corsair make superior PSUs; Lian Li, Antec, and Silverstone make superior cases (and Rosewill has some good ones as well), and Scythe makes excellent fans.

The case has overall gotten very good reviews and I don't think I have to worry about a different one. My friend recommended that PSU to me (he uses it) and says it's been working excellent for him so far. I might look around, though, for a different PSU.

Ok, I switched over to a different more trusted PSU brand, which hopefully was the right decision.

In this case, it isn't a matter of quality, it is that Coolermaster as a company is blatantly dishonest, and therefor does not deserve anyone's business.

Anyway, I've got that mobo, and I really like it so far. I'm running a 970BE on it now, but will most likely get Bulldozer if the benchmarks are decent.

Alright. Can you recommend me a good case? All I would really like on it is a side window :)

Hmm, I did a little research and found that AMD is going to release a new series of GPU's. Since I'm building my PC late December, should I wait for the 7990 (if it's released by then)?

I'm switching over the PSU AGAIN. You're all probably going to get mad, but I chose rosewill. Yep :p . The PSU got good reviews, and it's at a low cost. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

no just no, do NOT get a rosewill psu... its just.... dont man... dont... grab a model from antec, corsair, seasonic, etc.... rosewill is bottom of the barrel type of thing

+1

You dont really need 1300W PSU?
Get a good 1000W from seasonic and u should be good.
October 4, 2011 12:23:15 PM

1300 w means absolutely bollocks
October 4, 2011 12:23:51 PM

an 800W one will probably be fine aswell. Especially a Gold or Platinum PSU.

He's crying while typing about rosewill. Can't you see how much pain Rosewill Psu's inflict on a user.
October 4, 2011 11:09:36 PM

Alright, it seems that Rosewill is just hurting too many people, so I'm going back to the PSU selected before :p .
October 4, 2011 11:42:44 PM

So, should I wait for the new 7000 series? I think it would only delay my build by a month or two.
October 12, 2011 10:01:20 PM

Hm... I'm going to switch over to the nvidia 580. And change my case to the blue edition :p !
