More about need upgrading computer
  1. Id say you were wasting money .

Theres no way you need that much grunt to game on a 1440 x 900 screen
  2. Hmm I see. Thanks for the feedback, what would be more appropriate in terms of cost for that resolution?
  3. Antec three hundred
    Amd 6870 or even 6850
Asrock extreme3 (although if you want usb3 in front you will need the extreme4 and a diff case)
  4. a 6770 or a 6850

    nVidia 550 ti

    for graphics card

I do like your first build btw. I just think you should by a 24 inch 1080p monitor to go with it
  5. That's likely the plan once Christmas rolls around. But I appreciate the feedback from both of you guys. So in this case is it only the graphics card that's unnecessary? I'm a bit new to building comps, so I apologize in advanced for any stupid questions.
