Asus P8Z77-M PRO slow boot

Hi there
I just purchased a Asus P8Z77-M PRO board. Normally it starts up fast, but every now and then it takes ages to start up, like 10 minuets or so! This is annoying since i spent money on an SSD to get fast boot times![:/]( ":/")
I've searched the net for people with the same problem, but could't find anything. Only people complaining about it hanging at bios every time, or people complaining that is was slow starting (1 minute) every time.

Did you do a fresh install of Windows 7 on the SSD? And there are some precautions to follow when installing to a SSD as opposed to a HDD.
