I am looking for a video card that will play GTA IV. System specs: i5-2500k, Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3, 8GB DDR3. I'm not trying to spend a lot of money, so something reasonably priced. I don't need the best video card, just something sufficient for GTA IV, I won't be playing anything more intensive than that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Without a given budget I am just going to assume your budget is no more than $250.
With that said, if GTA IV is your main focus then I suggest getting a video-card that has at-least 2 GB of memory as that game demands tons of it. I don't think you can even fully max it out with 2GB if I recall correctly.

My first suggestion is The GTX 560 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814261109

My second would the lesser costing 550 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130652

I highly would recommend my first choice over the second however.
If the prices are still to high then you are going to have to move down to a 1GB card which means you will have to turn down the video quality settings quite a bit on GTA IV. If that is the case then just say so and we will find something more in your budget.

Ya, not really looking to spend that much. Any suggestions on a 1 GB card? Also I don't mind turning down the quality a bit, I just don't want to see a pixelated slideshow.

My 2-year old HD4890 plays that game great at 1920x1080, with eye-candy enabled. As megaman hinted to, GTAIV is coded poorly, and shows CPU-dependency for it's in-game physics calculations. As such, the GPU doesn't truly dictate how well it plays. So unless your monitor is of greater resolution than mine, anything comparable to a 4890 (5770/6770, GTX275) or better (6850, GTX460 and higher) would play that game fantastically when coupled with your CPU.

GTX460 1GB cards can still be found for around $150 before rebates, making it a very solid performer at a reasonable price. I do prefer it's replacement GTX560, though, which is a streamlined version of the 460. It's capable of higher clock speeds while consuming less power, but they tend to cost about $190+. The rival AMD alternative would be the 6870 at about $180. These are all pre-rebate prices, and it should be noted that many video cards in this performance range carry rebates between $15 and $30.

Exactly how much are you looking to spend?

If you live in the US, the you can buy a Radeon HD 6770 (a rebranded HD 5770) for $100 after rebate. It will be adequate for GTA 4.
