Hp pavillion g6z series- AMD six core upgrade

Hello,
I have a Hp pavillion g6z series laptop and was looking to possibly try to upgrade the laptop and was wondering if it could handle an AMD FX-6100 Zambezi six core processor and if so how to install it?

  1. I don't recommend a laptop cpu change unless you're experienced, especially if it's still under warranty. Even if the cpu works, what's to stop the system from running too warm? Many cpu heatsinks in laptops are at their maximum load and won't handle the extra heat.
  2. I know this is an old thread but the OP is a moron.

A AMD FX-6100 processor is a desktop processor, so it is IMPOSSIBLE to put that inside a laptop.
