I'm switching from an e6600 processor to this 2500k. I used to run the e6600 at 3.2ghz.

Are these good temperatures for a 2500k and safe for 24\7 usage and what kind of lifespan shortening can I expect; I'd like to keep this CPU for 3-4 years if possible.
My computer is used for multitasking and gaming.
Temperatures can go up 5c on a warm normal day or 7-8 during a hot summer day.

Looks good. 4.5 GHz with temps in the mid 50's.

Try to 1.28V the cpu.The lower is the voltage, your temp will drop a little. The temp are ok.

1.3v appears to be my max stable voltage at the moment; anything under would just BSOD.
