Quick GTX 550 Ti Question

Would this GTX 550 Ti be compatible with my motherboard? I'm just not sure if it would because it's a Pci-e 2.0 card.

  1. Yes it should work fine with your motherboard, just bare in mind that you will need a bigger than the std PSU.
  2. Best answer
Pcie 2.0 cards work fine in pcie 1.0 ports, it just lowers the bus speed, if a 2.0 x16 card is in a 1.0 x16 port it runs at pcie 1.0 x16 but reality it is running at x8 if it were in a 2.0 port.
