Asus P8Z77-M

Greeting all,

I purchased Core i7 3770, Asus P8Z77-M and Corsair Vengeance Low Profile - 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 (CML8GX3M2A1600C9R)

I installed in my PC Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

When I checked in the system info, it shows total memory 8GB but the usable one is (7.69GB).

Is there something wrong, or I have to do something to the system ??

because your system is already using the other bit thats not there... i have seen that glitch before

I did not get what you mean,
can you explain more....

A certain amount is served for system operations.
In short, it's normal and your system is running fine.

Using the HD4000 IGP or discrete graphics? If using IGP, most of the missing RAM (320MB) is probably reserved by the IGP.
