My new setup will look like this:

GPU: GTX 560 TI (SLI)
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3,3 Ghz, quad core
RAM: 4gb DDR3
HDD: WD, 1 TB 7200 RPM 6 Gb/s 64 cache
Motherboard: MSI P67A-GD65 B3

So my question is, what kind of power supply is necessary for this setup?

get this:

the XFX is also a great choice, I have one and it has been rock solid. Keep in mind that you could also get away with a 650w but if you have the budget you might as well spring for a 750w unit to give you some headroom to oc the gpus and that beefy cpu.

The corsair unit I listed above is also a rock solid performer, either of these units will be more than adequate for your system.

Ok, I think Ill stick with 750W then to have some extra W just in case. But is there any big quality difference between the XFC and the Corsair 750W?

imo no I believe the XFX unit is a seasonic; they are definatley on par with each other performance wise, like I said either is a great choice. neither are modular so I'd probably go with XFX bc its cheaper AR def a good deal!

Yeah, because on the site where Im buying one of them, the XFX costs almost 18$ less than the Crosair. So you are just paying the extra 18 bucks for the name "Corsair"? :p

yeah so why not pay 18 less for the name "XFX"
