Hi guys! First thing im sorry if youve seen this question alot, I've read loads of threads with similar but not the same subject.

Anyway, I was planning of upgrading my HD 5770 to a either a HD 6950 2gb (as I heard you could flash them to a 6970) or the GTX560ti 2gb (as ive heard good things about this card) So what do you guys recommend for about £200?

I currently have a Phenom II x4 975 and 8gb DDR3 1333Mhz if that helps and I will be using it mainly for gaming at 1080p (or a bit highier in the future but nothing extreme).

Thanks in advance!

I would go w/ the 6950 2GB. I have this card and love it. I run a resolution of 1920x1080 and everything on high. I also have a second screen i use to keep track of TS3, temps, cpu usage and other stuff. This card is a great card w/ NO lag/stutters in games. Black Ops i get a constant 125 FPS all the time and other games just runs real smooth and i have no problems w/ latest drivers. I'm looking at getting another card soon. my specs are: 2600K,8 gigs 1600mhz,128gb HHD,500HHD,400HHD, x-fi fatality edition card, asus sabertooth P67 board, 6950 2 gb. I wont be upgrading for a long time except for another 6950

I'd recommend the 2GB 6950, the 2GB GTX 560Ti is overpriced.

As to getting a 1GB GTX 560Ti or 2GB 6950 , a harder call depends on what you do.

Precious few 6950s are actually reflashable anymore....; however, they are excellent cards, but, the faster GTX570s are now sub-$300...

Sub $300 after rebate. The 6950's are sub $250 after rebate.

OP I'd go with the 6950 2gb for sure out of those two choices you asked about.
