Should i upgrade from 500 GB Seagate to 2TB WD

I got Corsair Vengeance 4Gb DDR 3 1600mhz but in system properties its showing 2.9gb and 800mhz only .

You will have to go into bios or add 4gb ddr3 1600mhz

When asking for advice it's always best to state your motherboard and memory specs. I suggest finding your MB and M on the manufacture website and post that.
