Unlocking the hidden core is a very useful feature for most of motherboards. This feature is running successfully with MSI 760GM-P23 (FX) motherboard too.
But beware: except for a processor with 95 watts. Power requirement increases to 125 watts after unlocking, and this mobo can't work stable with this wattage, and even it means seriously risks for the motherboard's health.
I would recommend the mobo MSI 880GMA-E35 (FX) to the people who want a seamlessly unlocking with 95 watts processors.
i used this board for long ang i assure you, i ran an unlocked athlon iix3 450-phenomii x4 b50 125w with no problem, i was even able to OC it
I read many negative reviews and opinions about the matter before buying, but also some positives like yours. I decided to give it a try (was amazingly cheap). Unlocking was successful but worked for half an hour only. I asked to MSI technical support about the issue, no satisfactory reply. I bought another mobo for my desktop pc and used this to build a HTPC system. It's working now very well as a media center without any issue.
This is a cheap and poor motherboard. It can be used smoothly for simple tasks like office, music, movies etc. without any bios changing intended for oc or unlocking.
You'll find a reply of MSI team about the matter below;
We apologize for the issues that you are having with this product.
This board can only support processors up to 95W TDP, it is also listed in our CPU support list below. http://www.msi.com/product/mb/760GM-P23--FX-.html#?div=...
Please be advised that if a motherboard is not using the correct processor the board will eventually fail.

at first i got BSODs, after adding volts and putting ram sinks to the PWN ckt. it began to run stable. you have to cool down those mosfets so that they wont fail. i think its cool doing some experiments. maybe msi said it can only run at 95w to be safe or its the safe zone,
