Hi all.
currently, i built a pc (thanks to all the help from people in this forum) and unfortunately,i got defective motherboard. worked only a day and i had to replace it with new one.

here's the thing, when changing the cpu, i didn't clean the thermal paste on the cpu & the stock cpu cooler. because i was thinking, it's only been used a day, so maybe there's nothing wrong with that.

the problem i'm having right now is that, BF3 lag, a lot & BSOD happened once. does the unclean thermal paste affect the gaming performance? Saint Row is not having any issues. only BF3 lag.

Update: the frame rate of BF3 is great..it's not frame-rate-lag. it's like, sometimes the game got stuck every few minutes. especially when it enters the menu (after being killed). i hope the explanation is understandable.
