I keep getting notices to pick a best answer constantly. It is getting annoying and I can't select the right answer, because I answered my own question.

Please tell me a way to select my own answer, or please add this option.

Hi,

jaydeejohn is correct. If people were allowed to select their own answers as best answer, that would become ripe for point trolling.

As opposed to giving them more points for posting their first question than their first answer?
