Yep, nothing in here I'll change apart from the SSD. Get a 128 GB one if budget permits. Otherwise, as we've already discussed, looks like you're good to go :)

look set to go, all quality components, and you should follow your own advice with a cpu cooler.

Else there was no point in having the K version of the i2500 :)

You could also consider a few quiet fans for the case to assist in cooling your 6970. Since it'll make some noise I imagine.

On SCAN.co.uk A 128GB is £100 more. Is it really worth it? all im really worried about is the OS and a few apps i regularly use

How many fans would you recommend
My case supports 7 fans

• A total of 7 fan slots (1x 120mm + 1x 140mm in front, 2x 120/140mm in top, 1x 120mm in bottom, 1x 120mm in rear, 1x 120/140mm in side panel)

and use fans in which slots?

Try to get 140 mms where applicable. That way, you'll be able to run the thing without sounding like a jumbo jet taking off.

Front and bottom intakes, top and rear exhausts i'd think.

Those things are way too expensive - even more so outside the US. If the difference is that much, I'd say no, not worth it. But 100 quids matter differently to different people, I suppose. So to each his own :)

How many exhausts, how many intakes?

Look, if you're not OC'ing, just get 1 each of front, rear and top.

Doesn't say it in the specs, but from the pics, it looks as though your case has a bottom mount for the Power Supply. So get the bottom intake as well if you want to.

As for the rest of 'em - you can get 'em if you can tolerate the buzz/whine, but I'll stop at 4 at least for now.

Sorry for repeating, but get 140 where applicable so that you can run 'em at a comparatively lower RPM for efficient cooling.

• Three fans included (1x 140mm in front, 1x 120mm in rear and 1x 140mm in top)

will that do for now before i OC?

I thought you said you're not gonna OC :pt1cable:

Either way, just use it as it is for the time being, monitor the temps for now and then decide accordingly.

Fan controllers come with the case. You can buy them separately. Default settings would in all probability be in your BIOS.

You can also check out this tut - How to Create a without Spending a Dime

P.S- The newegg (US) version of the fractal design case seems to come with 3 fans as you say, but the one listed on scan.uk specifically says "no fan included".
