Hello all,
Just a curisoisty question more than anything. im thinking of getting the new MacBook Pros, but im a bit stuck on which one to get. the base 15' model comes with a tiny 6490 256MB, while the other, 2.2ghz i7 comes with a 1GB 6750. Im a heavy user of CS5 and final cut studio so like encoding, editing in HD, will the 6490 be enough for that kind of work? or is it worth going the extra mile with the 6750?

Thanks!

That is of no use to me, please do not post if it's no relevance to my question.

Fine, if you have to choose between the two MBPs, you'll definitely benifit from 4 times VRAM (1024 vs. 256) and a better video card in all applications. So go for 6750. Though, really, pairing an i7 with 6750... *throws up* Apple has no clue :D
